Dressing to Impress

Christchurch Casino New Zealand Trotting Cup Day is the ultimate day to impress so dust off your finest and wow the world! Think sassy yet sophisticated, sexy yet stylish!  Formal day dresses, suits, ties and headwear! It is also about what’s on your head, whether it be a fabulous fascinator, feathers, headbands or a striking hat. This isn’t restricted to the ladies either, men you can dust off those fedoras too!

We love to encourage your creative flair for race day. There is however some dress code no no’s for the Metropolitan Stand and all hospitality areas;

  • No denim
  • No shirts without collars
  • No jandals or sports shoes
  • No sporting wear
  • No tracksuits
  • No caps or beanies

A smart casual look is encouraged in all public areas of the racecourse.

Thank you to our 2018 sponsors:
