Whether you’re a passionate racing fan or simply love a great day out, IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day is about celebration, connection, and making your mark at one of the most iconic events on the Aotearoa New Zealand sporting and social calendar.

We offer a wide variety of hospitality options to suit every group and occasion, including packages in the Metropolitan Stand, outdoor precincts, and premium marquees. Choose from shared spaces, private marquees, all-inclusive food and beverage packages, or food-only options with access to bars to purchase drinks. These packages are on sale now – be quick to secure your spot before they sell out.

This year, we’re excited to introduce highly anticipated new areas. The Infield, brought to you by Hyoketsu and The Edge, will be the biggest party on course with DJs playing all day and a headline act after the last race, located in the centre track. Public Village tickets will also go on sale soon, providing an affordable way to enjoy the day’s incredible atmosphere. This year there will no longer be a catered area for The Crossing Cup Day Fashion Competition. Instead the fashion marquee in the Public Village will be open to all those that wish to watch the heats and spend the day with their friends who have entered – this includes guests with tickets to all hospitality areas and The Infield. Please note, the Monte Carlo and Monkey King Marquees are no longer available. We recommend considering the Johnny Globe Marquee, Grey Goose Terrace, or Smarts Mound Private Marquees for your group this year.

Our new hospitality areas include The Ned Lawn, located on the grass area formerly known as ZM on the Green, offering catering throughout the day. The Grey Goose Terrace is another exciting addition, featuring an all-inclusive food and beverage package for a minimum of 40 people, located on the stables rooftop area that was also previously part of ZM on the Green.

While ZM on the Green is no longer, The Infield will now take its place as the ultimate party destination, delivering an unbeatable vibe for those looking to dance, socialise, and make memories on Cup Day. Sign up to receive more information about Public Village and The Infield tickets below.
