ANZAC Day is a time of reflection, remembrance, and tradition, and we are honoured to be part of this significant day by bringing together two great Australasian sports – harness racing and rugby league – in a special event at Addington Raceway. ANZAC Day NRL matches are a longstanding tradition, paying tribute to those who have served, and this year, the One NZ Warriors take on the Newcastle Knights right next door at Apollo Projects Stadium.
To mark the occasion, we will host an early evening of racing before the One NZ Warriors’ 8pm kick-off, giving fans the chance to experience two thrilling sporting events in one place. The trackside lawn will be a great spot to soak in the atmosphere, while Spectators Bar & Bistro and Chunky’s Smoker & Outdoor Bar will offer delicious casual dining and drinks throughout the evening. If you don’t have tickets to the game, you won’t miss a moment – we’ll be showing the match live on our big trackside outdoor screen and inside at Spectators.
For those looking for a premium experience, Trackside Dining offers a three-course buffet meal with stunning views of the track. Or, for the ultimate night out, secure our exclusive Races + League package for $140, which includes a three-course buffet meal, drinks, and a Gold ticket to the game.

FREE CAR PARKING
There are two entrances to Addington Raceway, Whiteleigh Avenue and Wrights Road. If there is an event at Apollo Projects Stadium and/or Wolfbrook Arena, please advise the car parking attendant you are going to the races and access to the car park will be granted.

ATM machines are located outside Spectators Bar & Bistro’s internal entrance on the ground floor, and in the foyer on levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Metropolitan Stand.
