How much does it cost a night?
$25 per night ($20 for NZMCA members) and bookings can be made online, here. NZMCA members will need to use the discount code to receive the $5 discount. This is available on Addington Raceway’s listing on the NZMCA website here.
Do I need to book in advance?
Bookings are required in advance and can be made online.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Our standard cancellation policy applies. No refund for cancellations within 7 days, 50% for cancellations up to 28 days, full refund over 28 days.
What happens if I arrive after hours?
You’re welcome to arrive at any time after 2:00pm. Just park in your allocated site and ensure your booking is confirmed. To book, click here.
Who can stay at Addington Raceway’s Motorcaravan site?
Only self-contained Motor Caravans who have been issued a green warrant card in accordance with the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers (Self-Contained Vehicles) Regulations 2023 campervans or motorhomes are permitted.
How long can I stay for?
Max stay: 10 days in any 28-day period (as per NZMCA rules).
Can I choose my parking spot?
No, parking spots are allocated through our booking system. Please park within the lines in our designated areas. Click here for the map.
Can I stay during Cup Week?
Unfortunately, no. These dates have been blocked out due to the high level of activity on-site during that period.
Do I need to check in or out at specific times?
Check in time is from 2:00pm and check out time is at 10:00am on the day of departure.
Is power available?
No, this is a non-powered site.
Do you have bathrooms?
No, this site is for self-contained motor caravans only.
Can I bring a pet?
Yes, but please ensure they are contained and under control at all times.
Can I bring a dog?
Yes, but please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times.
Can I bring children?
Yes, but please ensure they remain supervised around all racecourse areas.
Can I walk on the racetrack?
No, this area is restricted for safety reasons. Please do not go within the red-line zones marked on the map at any time.
Do you provide a dump station?
No, we do not have a dump station onsite. We recommend using the McKeown Fuel Stop (Location: 34 Ron Guthery Road, Yaldhurst).
Do you provide skip bins for my rubbish?
Yes, recycling and general waste skip bins are located by site 22, for any rubbish you may have.
How close is the site to the city centre?
We’re approximately a 15-minute drive from central Christchurch.
Can I access public transport from the site?
Yes, bus routes operate nearby. Check local timetables for details.
Is Spectators Bar open every day?
Opening hours vary, please check the website for the latest info.
