Show Day Twilight Races

Held on Canterbury Anniversary, our Show Day Twilight Races is the perfect way to unwind and wrap up Addington Cup Week. This relaxed-yet-electric afternoon rolling into evening is one of Canterbury’s favourite race day traditions.

Entry to Show Day is by gold coin donation, with all proceeds supporting the NZ Horse Ambulance Trust – a fantastic way to give back while enjoying a brilliant day out. While hospitality packages have now sold out, there’s plenty of space on course for everyone to enjoy.

Public areas open on the day include:

• Chunky’s Smoker & Outdoor Bar with seating on The Ned Lawn
• Pascoes Celebration Lawn, featuring food options and an outdoor bar
• Trackside Lawn, with food trucks and plenty of seating
• Ground floor of the Pavilion, with a bar and additional seating
• Christian Cullen Lounge on Level 1 of the Metropolitan Stand, offering cabinet food, bars, and access to the outdoor seating bowl

Gates open at 1.00pm, with the first race at 2.09pm.
