After his second in the Avon City Ford New Brighton Cup at Addington last Friday, Borrisokane is the biggest mover in this week’s New Zealand Trotting Cup and Renwick Farms Dominion Trot rankings.
The Sportswriter gelding has improved nine places, from 30th last week to now being 21st.
The Regan Todd-trained six-year-old has been in good form this campaign, with his latest effort following another second behind Dreams Are Free in last month’s Kurow Cup.
Borrisokane finished nearly three lengths behind The Lazarus Effect who has won both this year’s Cup qualifying races, the New Brighton Cup and the Maurice Holmes Vase.
Tact McLeod’s third in the New Brighton Cup sees him improve three places from 14th to 11th, as does Renegade after his fourth in the same race. He is now 16th.
Up north Jeremiah has moved up two places to 22nd following his win in Friday night’s Lincoln Farms Supports NZHAT Mobile Pace at Alexandra Park.
The top 10 in the Cup rankings remain unchanged this week.
Fresh up this campaign, Mighty Logan sealed his place in the Renwick Farms Dominion Trot following his narrow win over 2026 Rowe Cup winner Mr Love in Friday night’s ITM Ordeal Cup at Addington.
The Robert and Jenna Dunn-trained seven-year-old has since gone from $12 on the TAB’s Dominion market into a $7 third favourite. Before his win Mighty Logan was seventh on the leaderboard.
Habibti Pat’s third in the Ordeal has resulted in her going up three places, from 15th to 12th.
