Addington wish to acknowledge the ongoing support of Owners by providing all individual Owners with an Owner’s Card. The Addington Owner’s Card provides Owners with the following benefits:

  • Access to the IRT Stables
  • 20% discount in Spectators Bar and Bistro by showing your Owner’s Card to Spectators staff ^
  • An Owner’s Guest Card is also included, which enables access to the IRT Stables only

These cards can be used at all NZMTC race meetings, however, they exclude IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day. Owners privileges for IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day are only available for Owners who have horses racing on the day and privileges are communicated via email the week prior.

How can I get an Addington Owner’s Card?
All registered Owners of horses starting at NZMTC race meetings (except for IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day) will be able to collect their Owner’s Card at race day reception located on the ground floor foyer of the Metropolitan Stand.

 

Note: When collecting your Owner’s Card you will need to agree to our Stables Access Policy. Accepted forms of valid Photo ID include 18+ Card, KiwiAccess Card, NZ Drivers License, and NZ Passport.

^ Excludes: any promotions/specials for food and beverage where no further discount applies, and IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day and the Show Day Races, and any other race meeting falling on a Public Holiday.

Terms & Conditions

  • Your acceptance of the Owner’s Card implies your acceptance of the terms and conditions of entry to Addington. Click here to view this policy.
  • When picking up your Owner’s Card you will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of entry to the IRT Stables and adherence to our stables health and safety policy. Click here to view this policy.
  • Adherence to the health and safety policies for owners, licence holders, patrons and horses are a priority for Addington. We thank you in advance for continuing to respect our stables policy of a maximum of 10 owners at a time visiting their horse(s) in the IRT Stables.
  • The Owner’s Card is valid from 1 August 2024 until 31 July 2025.
  • The Owner’s Card is issued at the discretion of NZMTC and is not transferable.
  • NZMTC accepts no responsibility for previously issued card(s) that are misplaced, lost or stolen. Replacement card(s) will be issued at the sole discretion of NZMTC (charges may apply).
  • Each owner is entitled to one Owner’s Card. Collecting multiple cards is not permitted and may lead to all cards being revoked.
  • Photocopying or duplicating Owner’s Cards are prohibited and may result in your card being invalidated and you may no longer be entitled to Owner’s Card benefits.
