In 2019 NZMTC introduced the Airpark Canterbury Owner’s Pass to acknowledge and support Owners who started their horse/s at the NZMTC. As it has been five years since the card was first introduced, we have reviewed the card and have made the decision to introduce a new Addington Owner’s Card.
The new Owner’s Card will still enable Owners access to the IRT Stables, and allow Owners to enjoy a 20% discount on food and beverages purchased in Spectators.^
The current Airpark Canterbury Owner’s Pass will no longer be valid from 1 August 2024.
From 1 August 2024, when your horse next starts at a NZMTC race meeting simply visit race day reception, show our staff valid Photo ID and you will be issued your Owner’s Card. You will also receive an Owner’s Guest Card which will allow access to the IRT Stables for your guest.
These cards exclude IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day.

Note: When collecting your Owner’s Card you will need to agree to our Stables Access Policy. Accepted forms of valid Photo ID include 18+ Card, KiwiAccess Card, NZ Drivers License, and Passport.
^Excludes: any promotions/specials for food and beverage where no further discount applies, and IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day and Show Day Races, and any other race meeting falling on a Public Holiday.
